The historical Founders of the first great city-states were Glanos, Sahart, and to a lesser degree Enalia.
Sahart and Glanos, their lifelong friendship torn apart over their mutual love for Enalia, both departed Ceylon, taking with them over half of the population of the city. Glanos settled in the plains near the Sapphire Sea, at the northern end of the Vashnar Mountains. Sahart, on the other hand, ventured across Sapience and settled in the Peshwar Delta near the Eusian Ocean. The cities they founded became Ashtan and Shallam, respectively.
