Opened on the Isle of Delos in 193 AF, the Matsuhama Arena is the only arena not located within the walls of a city-state. Named in honour of the God of Combat Himself, it is in frequent use by adventurers as the arena of choice for many Divine-run events, such as free-for-alls and rampages, as well as the more recent and popular King of the Hill and Champions versus Assassins games.
The interior of the Matsuhama Arena, including the Modi River, is located upon the plane of Nishnatoba. Other landmarks within its blood-spattered walls include the Gaian Forest, the Erisian Tower, the gladiator pits, and the skeleton of a massive dragon.
