The Crypt Beast is an extremely fast and aggressive creature who lives in a lonely tomb in the Theran graveyard. Most notorious for the slaying of many a newbie while rampaging across Sapience in pursuit of any unlucky victim who happens to catch its eye, it normally stays within its eerie home unnoticed till reckless adventurers enter the crypt in hopes of slaying it. The Beast is believed to have perished along with the villagers when Thera was destroyed by the Vertani.
