Intended as a sun forged by the [[Aldar]] in the heat of [[Saar-elan]], it accidentally became a sun-eater, consuming three worldsouls in its ravenous hunger. A quartet of Aldar contained Telar in the Kunapi system. Led by Mantru and directed by Dekalb, the Firstborn captured Telar in a prison of its own making, rendering the cosmic devourer to no more than ordinary solar light.

A mandolin with strings of gold (shortname: memoryinstrument) is a talisman inspired by the musical works of Scarlattian forces in the last battle of Memory. Its power lies in its dynamism, able to temporarily increase the health (one time every fifteen minutes, by ten percent) of mutual allies in its audience with its magical aria. The instrument can also morph into any other instrument on command including harp, lyre, or lute.
