Maklak, the Ice Wizard, is found far north in the frozen Tundra, near the unnamed Tundra village. Residing in a tower of ice, Maklak is always trying to devise new ways to cover the world in the ice he so loves. He considers himself the most powerful wizard, and is a known member of the mysterious Conclave, along with the wizard Hycanthus, the Swamp Witch Haag, O'ising, the shaman of Aran'riod, and Yudhishthira, the terrible red dragon of Polyargos.
