In 754 AF Haldoran accompanied the [[Bloodsworn Gods]] on a mission of purification to the outer planes when a well to the void exploded, cutting the expedition short and catching Haldoran in waves of [[chaos]] debris to the horror of [[Targossas|Targossian]] onlookers. Haldoran later appeared to the followers of the Bloodsworn apparently unhurt but unmistakably mad. Everywhere he looked he imagined he saw chaos infection. The knight set about attempting to cleanse residual taint in the most unlikely of areas of the Prime Material Plane, beginning with [[Cyrene]], which he promptly set alight.
