The Northern Scrublands are a hilly expanse located on the continent of Meropis. Crossed by the Coastal Highway from west to east, and the River Mnemosyne from north to south, the scrublands are made up of craggy hills and grasslands that end abruptly along the rugged northwestern coast of Meropis.
Flora and Fauna
The tree-dotted plains are home to a variety of small woodland animals such as foxes, red jackals, and snakes, as well as speckled thrushes which dart in out of the tall cacoa-grasses.
Like most plains, wild grain, sugarcane, and goldenseal are abundant in the dusty scrublands but several other plant species may be found in small numbers such as cacti, lichens, and cornflowers.
