The Hatha-yin are a group of slaves in the country of Kashar. They are often mistreated young and die in their prime. Perhaps the most famous former slaves to escape the area and make a new life elsewhere on Sapience are Kavaya, an instructor of blademaster adventurers and her legendary warrior-poet ancestor, Lucaine Pyramides.
