Master of mimicry, a cage-bound parrot will memorise any conversation it is privy to (up to an Achaean day in length), and can recite it back with unerring accuracy. Being a somewhat small-brained creature, it can only retain the memory of a conversation for two Achaean months. It is an excellent artefact pet for anyone, from the tavern bard to an esteemed city leader. Caged parrots can be purchased in the artefact shop owned by Merentesh in Delos.
