Apollonia is an odd young woman who once lived in the Mannaseh Swamp. A once oft-heard Oracle, her prophecies involved objects such as spoons, tadpoles, and impending doom. She is not, however, to be confused with Anaxamidion, the Doomsayer.

Apollonia is the daughter of Niliana and Dibbuk, the Angel of Madness. She was raised in the village of Tasur'ke by her mother and the sculptor Darius, who married Niliana soon after her arrival in the village. Apollonia was a little strange even as a child. She was prone to trances and long sleeping spells that included horrible, recurring nightmares. In time, she became a pariah in the village when it was discovered that the calamities she dreamt of were actually coming true.

As Apollonia grew, her nightmares continued. She become infatuated with a young villager named Octavius, who spurned her advances. Octavius was married to Auria, and the young couple had a daughter, Aurelia. On the night Auria disappeared from the village, Apollonia went mad and fled from Tasur'ke, never to be seen there again.

In 259 AF Apollonia took up residence in a small hut in the Mannaseh Swamp, where she remained for many years. During the Eternal Night, she vanished without a trace before being found again in 484 AF. She now lives far in the northwestern portion of the Sapient peninsula in her new mountainous home called the Dreamspear.
