Khalas, the Wanderer was an Elder God who plotted to overthrow the reign of Proteus along with Lorielan and Agatheis. When this Triumvirate failed, He was sentenced to be transformed into an unmoving statue, stood in the village of Tomacula as a reminder to all of the folly of crossing the Creator.

Khalas had no official order or faith as attributed by his long imprisoned, however several cults in history had formed in His name. These known cults have been referenced within villages and towns such as Petra and Thera. Not much is known of the history and actions of these cults, but from what information is gathered many were rebellious in nature and would even war against one another.

Khalas was freed in 922AF, his prison shattered by the might of the demon Pazuzu wielding the combined magic of the Protean Relics. Intending to take his revenge on the rest of the Divine, the Wanderer allied Himself in a new triumvirate with the archfiend and King Slith of the Underworld.

The pantheon came under siege from the fury of the Elder God on the plane of Memory, wounding and incapacitating a trio and forcing them to withdraw. A second coordinated engagement of five Gods confronted the Wanderer on the Memory-ensconced world of Krenindala, aided by Sycaerunax. Maimed and weeping, grey-robed Khalas fled the battlefield. Crawling on broken limbs, he sought refuge and the aid of his former student Han-Silnar in the mists of Memory. The Aldar quietly took Soulfinder from His charred hand and slew the Lost God, revenge for the life of Enheduanna in ages past.
