The Token of Charybdis provides adventurers a way to be rescued from a captainless ship should the ship be stranded out to sea or the adventurer has no way of disembarking. When used, the stranded passenger invokes the spirit of Charybdis who will then deposit the passenger to a mainland harbour in exchange for more than half their total endurance and willpower. To obtain a token, you must either:

  • Purchase a blank one from Maelstrom in Tasur'ke and etch it at a harbour with the tokenetch ability in Seafaring. The etched location is where the adventurer will be deposited if the token is used.
  • Purchase a pre-etched token from Maelstrom at a much more exorbitant price.

Use of this type of token is limited to once per Achaean month and takes a long time to execute. Adventurers may also Use a bronze token of Charybdis from the Shop of Wonders once per day, which halves the time required by normal tokens without the endurance or willpower costs.
