The Silverdrop Inn, located at the southern end of Zanzibaar Street in Shallam, was a popular gathering spot in the city. The lower level was host to Akhmeed's Casino of Delights, run by Akhmeed and the lovely blackjack dealer Laura, as well as the city's newsroom, the Solarium of Thought.

On the second floor of the inn, the bartender Fak'trar offered standard beverages for sale, while his Arcadian wife Elode sold special journals and letters. Also on the second floor was a small temple dedicated to the Te'Serra that housed Lady Mithraea's Treatise on Good.
