Martei, Antique Purveyor Extraordinaire, was a travelling merchant who once sold perfumes and hair clips. He was killed in a raid upon Jaru by the Morningcloaks branch of the Jaguars crime ring, his skeleton identifiable only by the ring upon its finger. He was buried in southeast Shallam, near an old altar to Deucalion. The Martei Memorial Tradepost is named in his honour.
