Jirken was once a citizen of Shallam, however the citizens of the city disapproved of his experiments as they had a tendency of harming or even killing volunteers and hence locked him away. He remained that way for an indefinite number of years before finally being freed by Mhaldorians on the 1st of Lupar, 337 AF and taken to Mhaldor where he continues to conduct mysterious and bizarre experiments. Bald and small in size with large, intense eyes, he fits the stereotype of a mad scientist like a glove.
