Irilan was a server at Sahart's in Shallam, a restaurant named for the founder of that city. Drugged and kidnapped to Mhaldor on the orders of Jirken, she suffered for months at the hands of her captors before being rescued. Finding refuge within the basilican walls, the scarred waitress birthed a boy named Jaydus sometime later. Over time Irilan found purpose in the holy cloisters, remaining there to study under the priesthood who had tended to her wounds, physical and otherwise, incurred from her time in Mhaldor.
