An ocean spirit is a powerful being of the sea, otherwise known as a Caspeid. The four original Caspiadae are beings that were created by Lord Caspian to assist in the creation and the rule of the sea in the early days of the world. Also known as the Guardians, these four are Borak, Guardian of the Northern Seas, Sefyr, Guardian of the Western Seas, Eusia, Guardian of the Eastern Seas, and Notia, Guardian of the Southern Seas. Many of them share their respective ocean's temperaments (e.g. Borak is icy, Notia is stormy, Eusia is warm) and are loyal (to vastly different degrees) to Lord Neraeos.
