The Bardic Competition is a writing contest sponsored by the Bardic Fellowship of Scarlatti. The first took place circa Ero, 355. Winners are ascribed rank within the Bardic Fellowship that appears as a line on their honours as well as a credit prize. While the term bardic can have several possible meanings, among competitors this contest is referred to simply as "The Bardics".
