The Arcanians were the personal bodyguard of Gruul, himself an Arcanian, throughout the War of Humanity. Gruul and his Arcanian entourage led the forces hired by the merchant-lords of Prospero, known as the Mercenaries of Arn.
Arcanians are giant beings, very similar to the Trolls who are the offspring of human females and Arcanian males.
