Disc of the Nocturne

The Disc of the Nocturne is an ancient artefact. Once used by an ancient cult dedicated to the night that lived under present day Hashan, it now rests within the crumbling temple in the southeastern portion of the city in the posession of the government. The old cult used the disc to track the movement of the planets Noxtra, Lunastra, and Somnustra as they shifted positions in the night sky while it dictated which aspect of night was ascendant during that time period. For a time, Hashan adapted this practice in the method of choosing between their patrons, switching between Twilight, Ourania, and Valnurana when their respective Star was dominant. The disc continues to be active to this day, changing on its own as the appropriate planet prevails, but it is no longer directly involved in Hashan politics.
