Jaydus

Jaydus lives in Targossas, where he serves at a guard station over the Riverwall. The bastard son of Irilan, a former server at Sahart's, and an anonymous Mhaldorian, he grew up a happy child in the streets of Shallam before joining the guard to practice defensive manoeuvres with his braided whip under the tutelage of Corporal Cazin.

When the Jewel of the East was destroyed in the 7th century. Jaydus accompanied the refugees into the wilderness, eventually joining the army of the fledgling city-state of Targossas.
