Shy and awkward around people, Salai, Frida's apprentice, is the painter of Caer Witrin's dedicated protege. He is skilled in the craft of copying paintings and keeps himself busy with the tasks Frida sets for him. He also sells the coloured inks used for tattoos and runes.
