Marcella Library

The Marcella Library was a large library in southern Seleucar, located just off Kephry Park Road and Red Stag Street. Named in honor of Severian Marcella, it was a well-known place of scholarship in the imperial capital. During the Wars of Succession the library was the last stronghold for Catarine forces in the Imperial city prior to the Battle of King's Tomb and the rediscovery of the Staff of Nicator.
