Eye of Discord

The Eye of Discord is a relic which was crafted by Proteus in ancient times. Framed in oxidised silver, a pebble of opaque jade forms the crux of the archaic relic. Veins of dark emerald and pale lime mottle the gemstone, the surface etched in intricate bas-relief: a lone, unblinking eye stares with eerie portent.

Though not literally the eye of Discord, the relic reflects its unpredictable spirit, and will randomly grant and remove large amounts of health and mana from the possessor. The relic was originally unearthed via the Digsite of Discord in Saoghal Valley.
