The skill of Vodun is a mystical one and not to be confused with the Jester skill of Puppetry. By using an empathetic link to imbue a carving of someone with life energy, you can affect that person from afar. Powerful Vodun masters are rumoured to be able to do anything from confusing people from afar, to leeching life experiences away from them, to slaying them from afar.
If a Shaman obtains a doll of you, then you must either obtain the doll and destroy it, or slay the Vodun master that created it.
The skill of Vodun is available to members of the Shaman class, along with Spiritlore and Curses.

Details: | After the first fashioning to create the doll, you will have a crude humanoid vodun doll. Wield the doll and FASHION DOLL OF <target>. As you fashion your doll further, you'll notice that it gets closer to being a semi-living state. Further, the more fashions you have with your doll, the more Vodun powers you'll be able to channel through the doll. Additionally, your doll will decay at a rate of 50% every 6 minutes after the last fashion. This effect does not occur for dolls of allied adventurers. If you find yourself in need of destroying a doll that is no longer in your possession, you may unravel it from afar. Note that this is a difficult feat, and will result in being thrown off balance for a long period of time. |
