The isle of Zanzibaar was the namesake of Zanzibaar Street in Shallam. In ancient times the far-off island was apparently quite famous, but in the modern era its spices and other exotic wares have not been enough to hold it in Sapience's collective eye, and it has fallen into relative obscurity.
