Class Summary
Paladins are the holy knights of Achaea. They are a predominantly melee class, with access to bows for line of sight attacks.
Skills
Chivalry - Through Chivalry a Knight gains various skills from the ability to train a Falcon, To the use of using dual swords, and the ability to shoot bows/
Devotion - Gives a Paladin their Holy skills, through the act of Rites, to Resurrection of the dead.
Forging - Ability to forge various weapons and armors. Gives a Knight the ability to wear Full Plated Armor.
Recommended Learning Order
- Learn Chivalry until transcendent because your accuracy with doubleslash correlates directly with your skill in it.
- Learn Devotion until transcendent because the amount of health you heal for with Hands correlates directly with your skill in it.
Stats
As a Paladin, the most beneficial stat to you is strength. Strength affects the damage of many of your skills in Chivalry, most notable doubleslash and disembowel. With access to skills such as Devotion Hands, Paladins do not need as much constitution as other classes with weaker defensive abilities.
Traits
The following traits are often considered desirable for Paladins:
- Nimble - Most of the attacks in Chivalry use balance, and Paladin offense centers around quick limb breaks. This trait is a must have for any aspiring Paladin combatant.
- Improved Physique - More strength.
