Wegava Valley
Wegava Valley | |
Leader | Nukilik, the Gnoll tyrant |
Discoverer | Kela An'bhaird |
Wegava Valley is the ancestral home of the Gnolls, nestled within the snowy mountains southeast of Morindar. It was discovered during Ero, 504 AF, by a young Sentinel named Kela, who was sent on an errand to the settlement by Ilubeth of Manara.
History
Many decades before the discovery of Wegava, the gnoll chief Lirthak convinced many of his people to emigrate to the warmer lands to the south. The gnolls settled within the cramped tunnels of Manara, easily overtaking the peaceful Mingruk. In 504 AF, however, the healer Ilubeth sent the young gnoll Oeru on a journey to rediscover their homeland.
Culture
The Gnolls of Wegava are ruled by the Gnoll tyrant, Nukilik. The villagers enslave deniigi and the sentient Razahr to do their work. The remaining Razahr live in a cosy cavern to the south.
