The Silverdrop Inn, located at the southern end of Zanzibaar Street in Shallam, is a popular gathering spot in the city. The lower level is host to Akhmeed's Casino of Delights, run by Akhmeed and the lovely blackjack dealer Laura, as well as the city's newsroom, the Solarium of Thought.
On the second floor of the inn, the bartender Fak'trar offers standard beverages for sale, while his Arcadian wife Elode sells specialty journals and letters. Also on the second floor is a small temple which houses Lady Mithraea's Treatise on Good.
