The Loving Hearts Orphanage, which was located off Anza Street in Ashtan, was opened in 176 AF by Servelan de Vermiis. It was opened under the guise of providing sound meals, good education and an environment in which to thrive and grow for orphans. Enrolling a child was done by giving them candy. The orphanage later proved to be an integral part of an experiment in which Servelan summoned the Unnamable Horror and merged with it to become Eris, Goddess of Chaos.
The orphanage was later torn down in the seven century, a chapel to Babel erected atop the rubble.
