Steel-forged and gold-clad, a gilded rondel is a circular piece of metal which, which attached to an embrasure in a suit, turns the suit of normal armour into artefact armour, adding non-decay and resetting attributes, as well as adding an extra embrasure slot to the armour for another paragon to fit into. Worked in tri-gold wire, the rondel is emblazoned with a twisting rose device. It is a lesser version of a sun and starburst rondel.
Gilded rondels can be purchased at The Artefact Armour Shop in Delos.
