Irilan was a server at Sahart's in Shallam, a restaurant named for the city's founder. Drugged and kidnapped to Mhaldor on the orders of Jirken, she suffered for months at the hands of her captors.

Following her captivity, Irilan trained for centuries with her mentor, Rhaksul, dreaming of one day exacting her revenge.
