The bowl is roughly circular, with a slight ellipse across one edge, and fits neatly in the palms of both hands. Although the exterior bark flakes off occasionally, this vessel will nevertheless provide many years of fine service.
- Finely whittled wooden flute - 5000gp
- Crafted from the supple wood of the palm trees that surround Zanzibaar, this wooden flute is a deep golden colour, marred by an occasional brown knot. Whittled into a delicate tube and expertly drilled by a master, the instrument gives a beautifully hollow sound when in the hands of an experienced player.
- Rough wooden pipe - 150gp
- The strong wood from Zanzibaar's famous nutmeg trees has been crafted into a rough pipe, the texture and spicy aroma of the material giving the object an appealing aura. - Journal covered with woven palm fronds - 6000gp
- Thin strips of palm fronds have been woven together in a criss-cross pattern and folded over the stiff wooden cover of this journal. Within is a sheaf of mixed papers, handmade and flecked with bits of plant material, each page unique with its imperfections and discolourings.
- Lightweight pot of palm wood - 50gp
- Crafted from the palm trees of Zanzibaar, this pot is both a sturdy and elegant vessel.
