The art of death magic, Necromancy is practiced by the apostate and infernal classes. Once practiced by the occultist class as well, the skill was abandoned with the rediscovery of Occultism in the Modern Age. Like its counterpart, Devotion, the ability to regain the essence necessary to use Necromancy may be sealed from an individual by the Dread Ecclesiarch of Transvital Corruption, a process known as Anathema should they prove themselves to be directly against the ideals of the Lords of Evil.
