Culture
The people of Petra live simple lives, working away at the fields growing crops such as wheat and corn. A few traders from other villages make their way to the town, and stay in the Horseshoe Inn, the only business in town. The Petrans are rules by Batlin Karrella, a secretive, private leader who keeps himself locked away in his castle, the Sangre Keep. The Petrans are also known for their role in the Vertani conflict, when they supplied soldiers to their allies in Ashtan.
Flora and Fauna
The only plants of note in Petra are those grown by the local farmers. Corn and wheat make up the vast majority of the village's crops. A few rabbits and other rodents make their homes in the fields, occasionally helping themselves to the crop.
