Haidar, the Lion, is a seafaring freedom fighter from Kashar with a reputation for liberating slaves. In 526 AF he was imprisoned as a traitor by the Kashari prince Kyar, but was rescued the following year by adventurers under the guidance of the escaped Hathai slave Kavaya.
