Robed in boughs of evergreen, Melpomene, Spirit of the Black Forest, is as unique as the creatures who make their home in the forest she protects. Over the years, she has seen her trees suffer many holocaust attacks and exterminations, yet this forest spirit endures with strength and poise.
She is also known in the Arts as Melpomene, the Spirit of Tragedy - the Muse of Tragedy.
