Theron, the Keeper of Rheodad, is an acolyte of Lupus, Wild God of the Beasts. Lupus granted him guardianship over the wolves and beasts of Rheodad as the forest's ward and protector. Theron is wed to the fair Teresa, long since deceased, though she lingers on as a ghost.
When Polemarch Amphites and his Ashtani hoplites shipwrecked upon the crags of Rheodad, Theron sensed their Necromantic presences and demanded they leave the forest. They refused, and over time, his wolves slaughtered them to the last. He is sometimes referred to as the Masked Hunter by Amphites, an epithet the Polemarch utters with scorn.
