Ralem was a Vertani priest who travelled from his home world to teach Achaeans the Vertani language. Taking up residence in the Logosian Temple in Saoghal Valley, he granted knowledge of his language to all visitors. In Miraman of 380 AF, Ralem and his companions were attacked and nearly all slain. However, Ralem was able to escape through a portal to his homeland and was not seen again.
