The '''Disc of the Nocturne''' is an ancient artefact, once used by an ancient cult dedicated to the night that lived under present day [[Hashan]]. In the possession of the government, it once rest within the crumbling temple in the southeastern portion of the city, but was later transferred by the [[city]]'s Matron to the [[Dome of the Triad]]. The Disc was transfered again a third time by [[Tavarius]] during the [[Eternal Night|Eternal Night Saga]] to the top of the tower in the [[Planetarium of the Crown]]. The old cult had used the disc to track the movement of the planets [[Noxtra]], [[Lunastra]], and [[Somnustra]] as they shifted positions in the night sky while it dictated which aspect of night was ascendant during that time period. For a time, Hashan adapted this practice in the method of choosing between their patrons, switching between [[Twilight]], [[Ourania]], and [[Valnurana]] when their respective Star was dominant. The disc continues to be active to this day, changing on its own as the appropriate planet prevails, but it is no longer directly involved in Hashan's politics.
