While it required eight ritualists in constant focus to draw from the [[Prime Material Plane]] as an anchor upon the plane of [[Memory]], successfully channelling it stabilised the presence of transplanar [[adventurers]] in the bounds of the memory of [[Shallam]] as well as providing a source of [[resurrection]] to any who perished during the battle. Its long-term imposition into the realm of recollection sowed the seeds of Memory's later disintegration of the islands of present-day [[Targossas]].
