Nissa

Nissa, the Head Archivist of the Lucretian Athenaeum in New Thera, oversees the library's every need. She is attended to and faithfully assisted by Maejin, the Archivist Apprentice of the Lucretian Athenaeum, and Lara, the Keeper of the Scrolls.

Pair of glasses - 3000gp

This simple pair of glasses is rimmed in a steel wire frame. Clear, rounded lenses glint neatly above a pair of nose pads, and two thin temples sweep backward to catch on the wearer's ears.

Pair of horn-rimmed glasses - 3200gp

These spectacles sit closely upon one's face, their glossy frame hewn from polished black horn. A narrow saddle bridge, situated between two elliptical lenses, is designed to ride high on the wearer's nose.

Pair of half-moon glasses - 3000gp

Polished, elegant steel frames these crescent-shaped spectacles in venerable simplicity. The lenses' uppermost edges have been left bare, allowing the eyepieces to simply rest within the nadirs of their wire cradle, and long temples upon the wearer's ears ensure that the nosepiece rests further down along one's face.

Monocle - 2500gp

Little more than a circular lens within a wire frame, this monocle is designed to sit neatly and comfortably within one's eye socket. A thin length of string, threaded through an aperture in the frame, allows for the wearer to affix the eyepiece safely to another article of clothing.

Pince-nez - 4000gp

Lacking the securing temples that run along the sides of traditional glasses, this pair of pince-nez spectacles clamps firmly upon the bridge of the wearer's nose. A simple steel frame holds the ovoid lenses in place, while two hinged, spring-loaded plaquettes on its bridge prevent the eyewear from slipping free at undue moments.
