An ordinary-looking emerald thrumming from green to blue and back again, the Gem of Transmutation is an artefact which allows its bearer to reincarnate into a new race or change racial specialisation once per Achaean month. As with many other artefacts, the gem may be purchased from Merentesh who runs his shop in Delos. Its upgraded version is the Gem of Rapid Transmutation.
