Jaguars (disambiguation)

A major crime ring, the Jaguars was led by Felisse and based in Ashtan. It had branches near and was responsible for crime in all major cities, including drug traficking and extorting citizens and denizens alike.

Their activities were most profitable in Hashan and Shallam, where adventurers willingly handed over large sums of gold and facilitated the criminals' operations in their cities. In Eleusis, adventurers chose brute force over investigation which resulted in wholesale slaughter. Cyrene, the most successful amongst the cities at stopping the criminal activity while gaining the most information, would not disclose their findings to citizens of other cities. Ashtan was able to control the criminals and actively sought reasons for the wide-spread movement of illegal activity.

The Morningcloaks branch of the crime ring was raided by the Shallamese and their allies. Meanwhile, Eleusis and Ashtan were also successful in shutting down the regional brances of the Jaguars organisation in their areas. As peace began to return, Felisse, the alleged mastermind of the crime rings, used public means of communication to mockingly thank the citizens of the cities for providing a certain sum of gold that she needed. She did not provide the reason for needing the gold and neither she nor the other members of her organisation have been heard from again.
