The Viridian Charter, formed of beads of glistening amber that sweep in trails across the Great Oak of Eleusis in curling, elegant script, reads as follows:

THE VIRIDIAN CHARTER
All shall be attuned to the thrumming of Nature's beating heart: from Nature were we born, and to Nature shall we die.
That which is borrowed from the earth - the gift of life - shall be inevitably returned.
Under Nature's influence, all kin shall exist in harmony.
The falsities of Iron and Stone exist only to excel the erosion of the world, and shall thusly be eliminated: no taint upon the earth shall be tolerated.
In the cautious nascence of Nature, in rampant expansion, in golden deadfall, and in vital decline shall the kin of Nature take heed.

At certain times of the month, between the hours of dusk and dawn, moonbeams illuminate the document in pale, ghostly light.
