Massive varkhas are one of the many cunning prey that dwell within the caverns of the Lupine Hunting Grounds. Vicious, freshwater-faring lizardmen, they are short and fat and have long tails which allow them to swim quickly through water like alligators. Their bulbous yellow eyes give them lowlight vision which suits them for the deep caves which they dwell in. They are intelligent enough to use crude weapons but use their pointed teeth to attack adventurers just as well. Hunters who fail to respect these wily beasts may soon find themselves the hunted instead.
