Utata, chief of the Tomacula tribe, takes great pride in his people, however primitive they may be. His bedmate Shunaan, however, is often said to be the true ruler of the village.

During the events of the Eternal Night, he fell gravely ill when Shunaan added a strange, night-blooming flower to the food she had prepared for him. With the aid of a group of adventurers and Elegnem's skills, he was eventually cured.
