Treacletart's Confectionery is a colourful sweet shop located on Arin'dale Lane in Gorshire. Its walls are striped with colour and its many shelves are chockablock with glass jars and bottles filled with the confections made by its owner, Conteza Treacletart.

Wares

Toadstool gumdrop sweet - 15gp
Expertly moulded, this gumdrop sweet resembles perfectly a miniature toadstool. Crystallised sugar coats the narrow stem, yielding to a broad cap that droops over the sides, its top layer a striking shade of red speckled here and there with white. Soft enough to chew but sturdy enough to retain its shape, the gelatinous confection effuses a sweet and fruity scent, a promise of flavour encapsulated within.
Candied violet - 20gp
Emitting a blend of sweet and earthy scents, a slender green stem connects to the purple bud of this flower, its petals splayed in a dainty, elegant arrangement. Light and fluffy egg white meets powdered sugar, entwining into a crystallised amalgamation that clings like a second skin to one side. Veins of dark chocolate crawl across and along the violet's opposite side, exquisitely piped to resemble a second flower in microcosm.
Slice of Treacletart's treacle tart - 60gp
Golden filling nestles within a crust of light, buttery pastry to form this tart. Flecks of grated lemon zest rest atop a glut of rich, syrupy treacle, lending a sharp and piquant tempering to the intense, almost decadent flavour of the dessert. Dusted with powdered sugar, a dollop of clotted cream completes the confectionery ensemble, ensuring that the palate remains moistened with every bite.
Paper bowl filled with kawhe beans - 35gp
Filling a brown paper bowl to the brim is the precise measure of a gnome's hanfdul of roasted and sugared kawhe beans. Though no larger in size than a peanut, each bean emits a powerful, near-overwhelming scent, the unmistakeable aroma of darkly roasted kawhe rich and striking. Dustings of sugar coat each stately brown bean's exterior, blended with egg whites to lend the crystallised confection a bright, glistening finish.
Cup of burnt cream - 50gp
Scorch marks decorate the outer rim of this white, handle-less cup, flecks of sugar clinging to its edges. A seamless layer of caramelised sugar forms a perfect disc atop the vessel, veins of black and gold meeting a streak of fruit coulis in which rests a single leaf of mint. Cool custard fills the rest of the cup, barely visible beneath the protective shell.
