The long slender curve has been hollowed out carefully and smoothed to hold a large shot's worth of liquid. The outer surface of the claw is a dull red colour and still bears scratches. The interior of the glass is the deepest of black, giving no visual hints to the contents.

Eight ample crab claws have been split laterally, butterflied and arranged in a windmill pattern. A garnish of parsley rests between each, the verdant sprigs fanning out in an attractive array of colour, contrasting wonderfully with the tender pink meat.

The faceted globe of the lower portion casts a rainbow hue when it catches the light, the golden caramel liquid within taking on muted shades of color. Crafted of the same material, a walnut-sized skull of gold tops the cork, and a tag of ivory cardstock hanging by a silver thread from the neck reads 'Piratus Prismatica' in an attractive and jaunty font.
