The Runewardens class began as the Runewardens guild in the year 288 AF. They practise Weaponmastery, Runelore, and Chivalry and are commonly referred to as one of the three knight classes. Unlike the other two, Runewardens are not associated with any particular philosophy such as Good or Evil.

Etch A fiery rune will strike your opponent.
Syntax: ETCH RUNE AT <target>

Details:

Draw the outline of a rune in the air with your weapon, sending the rune crashing into your opponent, doing extra damage if the target is unable to dodge the attack because of aeon or stun.

Safeguard A protective rune that absorbs damage.
Syntax: SAFEGUARD <target>

Resource: 35 rage
Details:

Protects a target with a shimmering rune that absorbs 40% of the target's health in damage. Fades in 10 seconds.
